Its oval shaping is coupled with a sleek outward forehead area design that acts like a built-in visor to reduce glare from vehicles or other objects. It also has a rear spoiler design to reduce the pounding sensation of a helmet when being used by the rider. It has also been wind tunnel tested and refined for better performance according to those tests.

The helmet comes in black, white, black rubatone, and medallion. Its shell is made out of fiberglass, Dyneema, and carbon fiber. It meets all world standards in motorcycle head safety gear. It has multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports for added ventilation. The interior of the helmet is lined with a Hydra-Dry material that can easily be removed for washing or replacement when necessary. A molded EPS nose area design is part of the helmet to prevent the faceshield from becoming foggy. Icon Variant Salvo Hi-Viz Helmet – This helmet costs approximately $390, and comes in black, yellow, and orange with the logo from Icon Helmets placed on the sides of the helmet.
